I went to that room again. I'm not sure how I got it, I just copied most of what I did the night I found it, including chasing around that silly candle. Didn't work so well trying to kick it on purpose, I stepped on it a few times.

But, the door did open again, and I stayed away from that journal explored the books some. They're ancient, to say the least. Some are even scrolls. I've only heard of one or two of the authors, and almost none of the books. They're so old, and cover such a wide range of topics.

They're not all in English either. There are some in Latin and French, and something that looks like Sanskrit. I can make out some of the Latin ones, but the others I can't make out at all.

I should probably tell a professor about the room. Dumbledore must have better things to do, what with battling off evil and all. Perhaps I'll tell Professor Flitwick, or one of the female teachers, it being the girl's lou and all...

Anyway, I should get back to studying.
